When the metal needs more than PDR
Auto Body Repair
Paintless dent repair works while the metal is only displaced — pushed out of shape but otherwise sound, with the paint film unbroken. Once a panel is creased sharply, the metal is stretched or torn, or the paint has cracked over the damage, that stops being true and the repair becomes body work: the panel is straightened or replaced, shaped where it needs filling, primed, and refinished. It is the bigger job of the two, which is exactly why we check for PDR first.
Why It's Worth Doing Right
- Handles the damage that is genuinely beyond paintless repair
- Panel straightened and shaped, not just filled and covered
- We quote it against PDR where both are possible — and tell you when PDR wins
Ideal For
- Sharp creases and stretched metal
- Dents with cracked, chipped, or flaking paint
- Collision damage confined to a panel or two
