Bumper Repair
Scuffed, scraped, or cracked bumpers repaired and refinished instead of replaced.
The other half of the job
Yes — alongside paintless dent repair, Quantum Dent Repair handles paint and auto body work across Southwest Florida, from Naples to Port Charlotte. Bumper scuffs, deep scratches, creased panels, and anything where the paint itself is damaged: we repair the panel and refinish it in your factory color. PDR is still the first thing we check, because when it works it's faster, cheaper, and leaves your original paint untouched. When it won't work, this is what we do instead.
We quote both ways when both are possible. If your dent can be pushed out without paint, we'll tell you that even though it's the smaller job — a repair that never touches your factory finish is always the better outcome for your car.

Three different repairs get confused with each other constantly, and they are not priced anything alike. Here is how we sort them.
Nothing needs painting. The metal is worked back into shape from behind and your factory finish stays original.
The most common repair we do, and almost always paintless — often finished in under an hour.
Widespread but shallow damage is exactly what PDR is built for, panel by panel.
No dent and no repaint — the clear coat just needs machine polishing. If your fingernail doesn't catch in the scratch, this is usually all it takes.
It has cut past the clear coat into color or primer, so polishing can't reach it. The area is sanded back, sealed, and repainted.
Bumpers are painted plastic, not steel — there's nothing to push against from behind. They're repaired and refinished instead.
Once the paint film is broken, pushing the dent out leaves the damage visible. The panel needs refinishing.
The metal itself is damaged, not just displaced. That is body work: straighten or replace, shape, prime, refinish.

What We Handle
Scuffed, scraped, or cracked bumpers repaired and refinished instead of replaced.
Deep scratches and scuffs sanded back, sealed, and repainted to match the panel.
Creased, stretched, or cracked panels straightened, shaped, and refinished properly.
Your factory color mixed and blended into the surrounding panels so the repair disappears.
Card artwork is placeholder illustration — real job photos are on the way.
How a Paint Repair Runs
Same first step as any job — a photo of the damage tells us most of what we need to quote it.
Before anything gets sanded, we look at whether the dent can come out paintless. If it can, that's what we quote — it's the cheaper repair and it keeps your original finish.
Your factory paint code is the starting point, not the finish line — paint fades in the Florida sun, so the mix gets adjusted to the panel that's actually on your car.
The damage is repaired, refinished, and blended out into the surrounding panels so there is no hard edge — then the paint needs time to cure before the car goes back to work.
FAQ
Yes. Paintless dent repair is the core of what we do and the first thing we check, because it's cheaper and leaves your factory paint untouched. But PDR only works while the paint is intact and the metal is simply displaced. When paint is cracked, plastic is scuffed, or a panel is creased, we repair and refinish the panel instead.
We start from your vehicle's factory paint code, then adjust to the panel in front of us — a car that has spent years in Florida sun has drifted from the code it left the factory with. The new color is then blended out into the surrounding panels rather than stopping at a hard line, which is what keeps a repair from being visible in daylight.
Run a fingernail across it. If it glides over, the scratch is still in the clear coat and machine polishing will usually remove it — that's paint correction, not a repaint. If your nail catches, it has cut into the color or primer underneath, and the area needs to be sanded, sealed, and refinished.
Tell us where the vehicle is and we'll tell you what can be done there. Smaller repairs travel well; larger refinishing work needs more control over dust, temperature, and cure time than a driveway offers. Either way you get a straight answer with your quote instead of a surprise on the day.
Longer. A door ding is often an hour; anything involving paint has to be prepped, refinished, blended, and then left to cure, so plan on the vehicle being out of use for at least a day. We give you the timeline up front with the quote.
Paintless dent repair never is, because nothing is repainted or replaced. Paint and body work is different — repairs get reported when they run through an insurance claim or a facility that reports its work to Carfax. It is one more reason we check whether PDR alone can fix the damage before quoting anything that involves paint.
